Jack storage Foam

Anyone know where I could get the foam piece that holds the spare tire tools (part number 5G0012115N) that doesn't have a super high shipping cost?

Cars245 wants $55 shipping
e-Acca wants $50 shipping
Ebay has some listings for $60 shipping

I don't want to pay almost $100 for a piece of styrofoam

What are you finding for prices on the parts themselves? If parts cost is comparable you might consider just buying them through a dealer.

Part costs about $16-18. I don't think it is a NAR part though. So, dealers here probably wont have it.

Look up the part number here.

Paste it into google and search shopping. I found the bottom section for $13 + $8.95 shipping for my car. Part number may differ between years.

I have an R. They don't come with spares, so there is no foam piece for the tools, at least not in the USA. Your part was probably available on GTI's in the US and more readily available. Thanks for the suggestions though.

If you're having difficulty finding it on the internet, I'd also suggest the dealer as a starting point. If I'm reading you correctly, your car didn't come with this piece so you are wanting to add it? If the hatch build floor pan is the same in an R as it is in a standard GTi (MK7) then the dealer should be able to get it for you.

Yes, I have the part number (5G0012115N). Google shopping has 1 result on ebay.

I'm pretty sure it isn't available in the US. This is the part.
