If you drilled your crash bar for FMIC install, come in!

I'm hoping to just remove the bar and put it on the drill press.
Just get cobalt bits like everyone else has said already I don't think pulling the whole crash bar off is going to be easier.

Cobalt bits and a 20yr old chuck drill I had burned through the crash bar in about 2 minutes a hole. I was all hyped up for the challenge, and was met with almost no resistance.

It took way longer to pull the bumper than to drill!

I'll try the portable drill first. I'll pick up 2/ea of the 1/8 and 19/64 jobber cobalts.

After 40 minutes trying to drill through the bar with 5 different 1/8" cobalt drills, and barely putting a dimple in it, I just loaded the 19/64 bit and drilled through like butter (well, maybe frozen butter). Would have been a 2 minute task if I had just skipped the 1/8" bit :/

Use Cobalt drill bits. Trust me on this one... My back is going to kill me. But CTS front mount plus full CTS pipes install done.
