How to remove stock valence/diffuser??

Not a video but remove all the screws then double check they are all removed and it pulls off. The clips are all along the top edge and a good tug backwards and it pops off.

Yep, that is exactly it, same valance I replaced mine with as well. Good find.

Keep in mind that the GTI has extra screws to keep the ends of the valance flush to the bumper. 1.8/TDI vehicles don’t have these screws.
