So I just switched back to the stock springs on my 2016 Base (non-dcc) Golf R and I’m remembering how high it sits. Its even quite a bit higher than other stock Golf R’s.

Are the DCC cars lower?

The rear springs seem to be the same 5Q0511115EP.... But apparently there is 2 different front springs??? Has anyone noted this before?

There is a "Golf R; Manual Trans. W/R, w/1 white, 1 red & 1 violet mark, w/1 white, 1 red & 1 violet mark." 5Q0411105JF

And another: "Golf R. Golf R; Auto Trans. GTI; Manual Trans. Suspension range 35. W/R, w/1 white, 1 red & 1 blue mark, w/1 white, 1 red & 1 blue mark." 5Q0411105JG

The fact they note having different markings makes me believe they are actually 2 different specs? The DSG is like ~50lb more...

I searched a bit, cant find anyone else having made this observation? Also the Golf R "Auto" version (which you would think would be the stronger spring) is the spring used on the GTI Manual??

But to answer your question OP, I couldnt find any differentiation between DCC and non-DCC springs, from the parts list... just this weird thing with the Auto v. Manual...

edit: checked other years, bc those links are for the 2016, and they also have different part numbers for Auto v. Manual....

edit2: OK, so it seems that this has been noted before: https://www.golfmk7.com/forums/index.php?threads/oem-gti-springs-length.335733/
