FS: CTS Catted Downpipe

Hello,

I have a barely used CTS Catted Downpipe for the Mk7/Mk7.5 Golf R.

It was used for less than 1500 miles. I am getting a GESI catted downpipe because I cannot pass emissions.

My loss is your gain. $400 pickup. This downpipe is $600 new and you are getting a practically brand new one.

Downpipe is sitting in my garage.

I am open to driving this to someone in western MA, CT, VT or Upper New York.

Did you try an O2 spacer to pass emissions with the CTS downpipe or nothing worked?

Did not try, I think this has to do with cat placement as well. It’s very far back which is great for performance but not for emissions and visual.

Yeah, with the O2 spot above the cat on the CTS even with a spacer it's prob hard to pass emissions. This is perfect for places that don't have smog/emissions but you don't want all the smell, except for startup, which you will have since the cat is so far back it does have to warm up first. One benefit to this placement is that you are also getting closer to catless type gains with less heat in the engine bay, so again perfect for places without smog/emissions check but don't want to be too smelly. GLWS!
