Extended Warranty on Golf R

Wondering what you guys think? I'm in Canada so the stock warranty is 4 years at 80k km..

Do you guys think I need to purchase extra time/mileage?? My wife wants to keep the car for about 8 years or so..

What are likely repairs that will be needed to make on this car??

I'm kind of off topic, but maybe less than 4 years, the new GTI may out perform the current R...

If you are going to drive your car long distances or very hard and you expect to exceed 80,000km in 4 years then consider it. Otherwise I agree with Excelsior - its probably not worth it.
