Has anyone tried removing the Dust Shield on the hub front and rear? What are the pros and cons?
I'm in Canada, and in Winter time, idiots from the municipality pour an incredible amount of salt on the roads, you get up in the morning, the roads are white, and you wonder if it's snow or salt?
Replaced Rotors and find out really bad condition of everything between Rotor and Dust Shield.
The dust shield prevents good ventilation and washing when driving through puddles. Does anyone have experience operating the MK7 without Dust Shield?
