Hi All,
Thanks for letting me on the forum !!!
Just bough a 2013 2.0 SE Bluemotion Tech, 68k all seems great my 5th Golf and prob the best so far. I have a slight issue though, when I start car a warning comes on dash to say Driver Assist Button Faulty....Everything seems ok as when you go through menus on radio etc. Button on side of indicator stalk however does not seem to do anything.
Anyone had issue like this and is it a quick easy fix ??

Regards
Jason

Sounds to me like it is just the button on the end of the indicator stalk which is faulty. Is it stuck? Does it move a little? Maybe you could try opening the stalk to check if the switch contacts inside are dirty. Failing that I guess you'd need to replace either the micro-switch or the whole stalk.

However, I was surprised to find that button even existed as the same settings can easily be accessed either in the Driver Assist section of the instrument cluster display or using the Car Setup section of the Infotainment system.

Hope that helps,
Stuart
