Downpipe with OEM+ exhaust?

So I've got a Clubsport S backbox on the original exhaust, I'm thinking about getting a remap maybe Revo. Alongside this I was thinking of getting a down pipe as it will add a bit more power and hopefully sound better with the stock exhaust and Clubsport S,
Is it a stupid idea though, do people normally recommend a full turboback?

And would it be stupidly loud with that set up?

Reduce drone, deepen the exhaust note, eliminate raspiness.

Only downside is you’ll lose some dsg farts if applicable and some crackles.

You’ll still have some pops and crackles but unfortunately there’s no way to be Drone Free AND have the most pops and crackles possible. You can tune them in, but I wouldn’t suggest it

As for a downpipe suggestion, I build and sell 304L Stainless catted downpipes https://www.golfmk7.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42648

Id much rather sacrifice crackles for drone free tbh. Will that resonator make it pretty much drone free?

Since I wrote this thread https://www.golfmk7.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33309 over a year ago I’ve installed about a dozen of these on various set ups with great results and zero drone.
