CTS Turbo intake kit – which filter oil?

I have just bought a CTS intake kit for my 7 R. I suppose it contains a cotton filter. From what I know CTS haven’t any filter oil of their own. I intend to use K&N filter oil + cleaner. (The filter is red).
One can use any cotton filter oil brand available..... What oil do you use? I suppose the filter is “dry” (not oiled) at delivery.

Perhaps it is a "dry" filter and doesn't need to be oiled?

If it does need to be oiled K&N should be fine. I found it's also good for foam filters.

Now I got the delivery. The structure of the filter looks like a cotton filter so therefore it should be oiled after first cleaning. (It seems to be pre oiled).
Also got the delivery of K&N filter oil.

Perhaps I should plan for a smaller installation session in my garage tonight .... followed by a test run…..
