Hello Forum Friends,

I wasn't thinking about getting an MK7 but I got a deal in writing from a dealer for the following. A 2015 reflex silver dsg autobahn that stickers for $32,900 for $28,900 out the door. I am trading in a 2013 DSG drivers edition with 4500 miles and they are giving me $22,000 on the trade, thats $2000 over KBB.

I paid $27,500 for the car a little over a year ago and got roughly $4500 of sticker of $32,000.

Question is do you all think the MK7 is that much better of a car. Please don't question the deal because I assure you it can be a done deal. I am just looking for feedback in comparison between differences of the Mk6 & Mk7 and if the new generation is truly that much better.

Thanks in advance.

Much better car. I had 2013 gti wofsburg edition. Traded it in for an autobahn with lighting package. Better car overal, and with tune for 699 $ the car is a 300 hp pocket rocket.
