Adding car play to 2018 Golf 7.5? Not enabled by dealer

I would like to enable carplay. Is there a better / cheaper way to do it than from the dealer?

Installed SW train version:
MST2_EU_VW_P0891D

What can I do with this info? Is there a way to enable Carplay myself?

I tried to update but it needs USB or SD.

Ok I was just reading and watching @mr-fix videos for the last hour.

Two questions - for my version, which version do I download?

And do I need to buy the obd11 adapter?
Also, the site that generates codes seems to be down. what should I do about that, can I proceed?

I only care about carplay.
