I had the standard system in my MK6 GTI. The sound in my SE with the Fender is WAY, WAY better IMO. I absolutely love the way it sounds and I've had numerous compliments from passengers as well. As someone mentioned, I had already tweaked the EQ and pushed more sound to the rear. I always do this in a car for some reason. Everything is so much more crisp and the bass is ten times better than what I had in my MK6.
I wanted leather, roof, upgraded audio, and PP which is why I went SE this time. I love the roof and haven't had one issue or squeak or rattle in mine yet, and if I do, I'll take it in and get it fixed under warranty.
My girlfriend and I love throwing in some nice tunes and opening up the roof for a nice drive on a warm day. My last GTI didn't have a moon roof and I missed having one a lot.
