My car is just over 28k miles now and I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. I daily it about 100 miles roundtrip for work currently, and have a few slightly longer trips too.
Unitronic is better than the other tuners to me because they work within more of the specs and areas than just boost, so from all the research I did they are very reliable and the car ends up being like "stock plus" after the tune. I really can't recommend them enough, outside of wishing they would do a stage 3 for the car!
I would definitely recommend the DSG tune in addition to the engine tune if you have an automatic, as it smooths out the shifts and adds a few other cool features in too.
