This would be my starting point for playing with map6 if there are no particular issues. Mods are all intake side (dp on order).034 Intake,cts turbo outlet pipe, muffler delete, turbo inlet.... exhaust side is stock except resonator delete.

Afr spike a 2500rpm an issue?

Car feels awesome, map 6 feels better. This is on 94octane

Some help what to look for. Anything in particular standing out?

Too lean on map 6 up top. You don't have the mods to run that.

Give it a rest. Leave it on your map6 settings for a few days. Then give it a pull or two and we can reassess.

Real quick... is the overboost specific to the jb4, or a specific map? Jb1 have the same issues?

flashtunes have this issue as well.

Is it worth getting the RS7's plugs? I have about 31k miles on my car with first ones, the interval for the change is at 55k miles here in Europe.

See, that's what amazes me! Are you running E85 or just 91/93? The highest I have seen is like 7 maybe 8 on every pull on Map 0 / 2 / or 6

Highest I have hit is 11. Normally see 10-10.5 on MAP6. Max ign corrections at 1.2 on either 1 or two cylinders, and not every run.

All - after having my mk7 (6spd) for about a year, I am ready to order a JB4.

Short mod list thus far.

• bleeder valve mod
• short shifter / shifter bushings
• drop in panel filter
• HPA dog bone
• Remus responder

I after some reading, i wanted to put out what i am thinking for my initial map 6 settings. Looking for solid, reliable power, hoping to spare the clutch a shortened life. It is also my understanding that the ecu will continue to adjust timing, and am hoping a slightly more conservative approach on boost in the upper rpms will result in more timing. 92-93 octane is readily available.

Note: stock psi figures are based off a said-to-be stock psi graph.

Car feels so good... maybe because of cool ambient temperature (38-40ish)... anyways, this feels the best so far



Maybe will install downpipe tonite.

psi varies based on IATs, so tuning for psi will give different power output.

Stock doesnt hit anywhere near those values up top btw. Use my settings and run a log. Additive will move psi based on ECU which is based on environment so there is nothing to think about.

Looks good. Interested to see if DP allows you to hit the targets from 5500 on up.
