Post The MK7 GTI/R Holy Bible/Commandments

This is a post that will attempt to rid us of the constant questions that get asked about the same thing and hopefully we will get this stickied once we have a moderator that can do so.

1. Thou shalt expect clutch slippage eventually with any; yes any Tune. (6MT Only)

2. Thou shalt purchase a 42 Draft Design 02 spacer in order to avoid the CEL when running an aftermarket downpipe without a flash tune.

3. Thou shalt never ask the question “Will X void my warranty” without searching and reading the many warranty information threads.

4. Thou shalt use the search function before making a thread.

5. Thou shalt send a PM to me if you have any basic questions about the MK7 and Modding.

6. Thou shalt not make a for sale post without an asking price and a picture or an excuse of why there isn't one.

7. Thou shalt be willing to pay'ith to play'ith (Modding could cost extra money)

8. Thou shalt stop asking if JB1 can be detected by the dealership and thou shalt also stop asking George when the JB4 will be ready.

9. Thou shalt send me your data logs using the site: http://www.datazap.me/ if you are wondering about basic engine/tune health.

10. THOU SHALT NEVER MAKE ANOTHER JB1 VS. NUESPEED POWER MODULE THREAD.

11. Thou shalt understand that changing the DV to an aftermarket one can cause some issues. The stock one is fine, leave it as is.

12. Thou shalt read the below links to learn about frequently asked about topics.

I’ll update this with more information soon and hopefully we can get this stickied.

That's probably the way to do it. My Miata isn't ready yet so I'll be bringing the GTI to the first couple events this year. I have springs waiting in my garage to put on but that kicks me out of GS lol. So I think I'm gonna wait on that tbh. I'm already insanely noncompetitive as is let alone in a class I shouldn't be in hahaha

Hahaha better quit your full-time job, because you'll be bumping this hourly and I don't see a point in the future where we can actually get important things stickied anytime soon
