I live in Chicago in Jefferson Park. I work out in Rolling Meadows. Probably going to be moving in May but not sure where yet. Probably still inside Chicago.

I traded my 2 year old base wolfsburg GTI (2013 model in 2015) with around 25K mile for 18.5K when I got my R. I got my R for 1500 under MSRP so I don't think there was much money from the trade put into the new sale. I would think 20K for DSG would be a good starting point since it had less miles than mine but about the same age (2 years old)

That's where I was thinking to. I could live with that. I have a small loan remaining so that would do exactly what I want.

Yeah that's a crazy good deal on the trade some expert negotiating.

I'd buy it if it were manual. I need a better daily than my rabbit.

I tend to hoard parts in winter and do big install days in spring. This year will be no different.

What's left to install:
Race axles from raxles
Eibach Multipro r2 coilovers
vorschlag camber plates
rennline gas pedal
eurojet intercooler (swapping out my current fmic)
setrab oil cooler
all poly bushings from powerflex in the rear suspension
Sounds like some solid plans! Just got my AWE Track Edition Catback installed and loving it. Next is hopefully some sort of suspension and wheels
