Thanks!
A good bit of work but in the end I enjoyed the process.
Getting older one does not recover as fast.
But like two a days in football you keep going.

Sandman GTI MK7 PP DCC Lighting Pkg - The Journey begins!

What the..........

Drove the car up on front ramps to check something and noticed this. I know I have not bottomed out this hard and do not remember hitting anything. It looks like an impact. Must have been something on the road or a big Rock. But I would have heard it. Will have to search for part number.

If anyone visiting has the info I would appreciate the time saver.
The front under cover is OK just the corner chin spoiler. I would take part number for both sides. Might as well order and replace both. Minor scratch area.

Thanks if you have part numbers.

At high speeds it was pulling car to the right.
Trimmed it off for now.

I donít think I would ever notice even jumping to light speed.
Anyway better repair it before it rust or let bugs nest in there.

Sandman GTI MK7 PP DCC Lighting Pkg - The Journey begins!

We all want proof a mod helps right?

Here it is!
A good while back (1 year and 7 months), I installed a cabin pre-filter. Below is a link to that info if you have never heard of this mod. I have changed the main filter a couple times since the install but never dug in to check the pre-filter. Today I pulled it out. Below is what the pre-filter can keep out of the main filter. They are within 6 inches of each other but the pre-filter is technically outside the car. For me a low cost mod with good cabin dirt and dust control.

Look what I found on AliExpress

Just read the link to my build.thread where I cover the sensor that must be transfered and how the hole size was slightly different. I have not had any issues just a reminder.

Remember a few extra filters.

Sandman GTI MK7 PP DCC Lighting Pkg - The Journey begins!

Damage cause to front OE chin spoiler identified.

Below is a link to my earlier post on thoughts I had hit something.

Went to drive up on my homemade ramps to check out a noise and while placing my ramps in front of the front wheels I wondered it the spoiler was hitting the ramps. I had used them 4-5 times with no issues. I slowly drove up the ramps stopping at different spots. The design of the ramps is not the issue but when car first drives on the ramp the weight and from sitting on my gravel driveway the ramps lift off the ground and if moving forward the corner of one board can touch the spoilers. That corner had a black mark on it. So damage was self inflicted in my driveway. Now I must see if a change will help or if I need a better ramp. If ramps were on a paved or poured surface then no issue.
New corner spoilers on order.
