Took my GTD for a quick wash as it was looking dirty but 5 later it doesn't look any cleaner lol. Will need to make some time and get it down to my mate that does detailing and said he will do mine.

Other than been out driving, piling on the miles to try and get it 1k miles. Currently have put 180 miles as it came with 25 on the clock.

Threw this in the back:

Now I just need to decide which brand I'm going with for the floor mats, I had Weathertech all around in my MK6.

Might as well. Might be better than monster matts.

The monster mats for the mk7 are not nearly as deep and rugged as the mk6/5 mats were. But I still would rather use them, they just look good.

1.Fitted Brodit iPhone mount.

2.Looked in Horror at the stone chips(plural) on the bonnet, only done 185 miles since collection from Manchester. I will send back for repair under warranty.

3. Drove to work again for the 33rd day in a row.

Purchased gti weather mats, my current dealership blows. Drove it on awesome back roads with a lot of turns and straightaways (may upload some quick videos sometime). Then washed the dirty mess.

Where did you get the mats from? My dealer wouldn't give me mats either

Fitted the neatest iPhone car mount I've come across so far. Solid fit in the central air vent.
