.308 Zeiss 6.5-20x50
This was in my coworkers backyard.
He has about 125 yards open before you hit the tree lines.
Hoping to find a good 200-300 yard spot to sight in a little farther.

I def swap the butt stock to something more conducive to a proper cheek weld.

Other than that, I like the setup!

Just got suckered into a build with a few friends. 9mm AR, short barrels but integral reflex home-build can takes it to 16" overall, so a 1-stamp gun. Basing them on the proprietary delayed blowback barrel and bolt from CMMG. 80% glock-compatible lowers so my g19 mags will run in it.

Obviously not an overnight thing but just ordered the "barrel extension tube" (which is what it will be until the stamp arrives of course, permanently attached) and 80% lower so gettin started at least.

Yeah, you’re really behind the times. I carried a Belgian-made M240-G in the Marine Corps twenty years ago.

I do believe FNH has since moved production to SC.

Sigs have been made in the US for around a decade or so now. October of '07 if memory serves.

But like automakers, the profits go to Germany.

Are you kidding? I know people use this same logic when talking about "domestic" vehicles.

When "profits" go to "American" businessmen, they just use the profit money to invest in Chinese factories so they can eventually build their stuff in China.

My tools of 11 years were recently stolen, mostly Kleins, Fluke, Crescent. Klein is making less and less in USA, Crescent is all China now as is Fluke, my formerly 100% USA tool bag has to be replaced with "American" brand tools made in China now. And I bought all of that stuff 11 years ago (Aside from the Fluke, it was older) BECAUSE it was made in USA. They just took my money and fired Americans with it.

A German company wants to employ Americans, and you would avoid them but I bet you'd give your money to an "American" company that would outsource if it had half a chance?
