Door Hinge Advice

My drivers door is not stopping on the half open point. I have to keep hold of it when parking next to other cars otherwise it will hit one.
Is there an easy fix or a VW job.

It’s the poor design of the door check. Some people here (myself included) replace them with Jetta door checks, which behave as one would expect. The golf’s does away with a normal detent at the halfway open position. Lord knows why...

Thanks for that, I’m not to sure of what to look! I googled VW door stops, I got pack of 4 but they where in the States on Amazon nothing in the UK. Still unsure of what they look like from Jetta.
