Hi
My dealer has charged me for wheel locks in my car purchase.
I was ok with that till I heard they may already be on the car from the factory.
Can anyone shed any light on this
Thanks

I was wondering about this as well. Mine came with them. Don’t recall paying for them. Looking to sell them because using longer bolts (spacers).

I would think unless ordered with car they would not come with car.
Some have posted that the OE lock bolt key is weak.
Maybe check out ECS Tuning. Get the flush spacer kit and lock bolts.

Honda does the same. So when getting the wife's new Pilot I told them no wheel locks and no dealer logos or no deal... It's that simple and the problem goes away. Wheel locks are useless IMO.

If you order your car with them then yes they come with wheel locks. They aren't required or come stock with them if not paid for. They are absolutely useless.

I noticed that too, I asked the dealer to waive the $80 wheel locks along with few other bs fees, they warned me that they will replace them with the regular set of nuts. After the final contract was finalized I noticed they removed the 79.00 but when I got the car, it still had the wheel locks, I guess they were too lazy to replace them.

Its one of those things that claim unsuspecting customers. A sucker trap.
