I was originally going to get firehawks, but after doing some research found that these were mostly on par with firehawks and better in some ways, like wet traction. Check out this post


edit: we literally drive the same car, haha

115VAC outlet in the center console:





I had installed one in my Mk6 years ago, but was very certain it would not work on a Mk7 due to the ventilation duct. It turns out that there's barely enough room to stuff a low-profile outlet in there. I still need to relocate my inverter from the trunk to under the passenger seat. But the tough part is done.

Why? It's great for powering refrigerators and crock pots for food gatherings. :cool:
