Single use caliper bolts

Maybe that’s why my caliper came off my first car? CPO


The brake caliper came off on the highway leaving me with barely any brake action. Took car back and bought a new one.

That is really scary since it shot out the piston too. That certainly would be a terrible experience! I've seen them where they come off but jam against the inside of the wheel so you are still able to use the brakes. I've also driven a fair amount of cars with air in the hydraulics and leaking hydraulics, but damn.
