MIB2 unit pulled from a late 2017 GTI. This is the perfect upgrade for your 2015 MIB1 to get your AppConnect on and also needed if you ever choose to upgrade to an 8" screen.

Note: This is NOT an unlocked unit. You will need to have Component Protection removed from a QUALIFIED VW dealership or thru other sources. That is all on the buyer.

Old post/thread but figured I’d chime in.

Won’t work properly IIRC. You’ll need 6.5” screen (or bigger) and you’ll need to have CP removed and paired to you cars VIN. Essentially you’d be looking at an mib2 retrofit which I recently just finished doing with the help of a friendly and helpful guy (Jack) in Poland. PM for more details if interested.
