But I'm quite certain, VW did some slight changes to the 7.5/FL model front

I'm not exactly sure, but he was told it was a complete kit and from what he understood, it was original VW.

As for the front fenders being different. He didn't find that out till he tried to bolt the front end onto the car. Hopefully RJ will chime in soon as I'm just hearing this second hand and don't want to give out information that is speculation.

I do know that it's been a bit of a nightmare for him and he would have never done it if he would have known ahead of time.

Fenders are the same except inner plastics. These are the part numbers:

  • [FONT=&quot]5G0 805 969 M[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot] 5G0 805 970 L[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot] 5G0 805 911 AH[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot] 5G0 805 912 R[/FONT]
Did my conversion last year and it is a simple plug&play job. Even park sensors can be easily retrofitted.
