Chassis - Poorly fitting under tray...

... on my Golf SV, see photo.

Rear end of under tray section hangs down and is visible. On closer inspection it seems it's actually forced down into this position as there is some feature of the floor structure in the way. Basically looks like a bit of poor design from VW.

Anyone noticed similar on other Mk7 variants?

Can't tell which area that is! Is that under the rear passenger side?.....

however yours is like the Skoda MK3 Octavia as it is longer in the wheelbase than the Golf hatch & estate.

Yes, mid to rear passenger side of RHD car, looking forward.

Interesting, I'll have a look at those later and see what the score is. There even seems to be fixing holes on that hanging/forced down aft section but nothing above on the floor structure to fix to.
