Talked to S&B today and they said these are being produced on May 10th, and should be available on site by May 11th. For anyone interested!

After looking at many intakes, I'm pretty impressed with the S&B, albeit with a funky looking filter, they are pretty upfront with all their testing, I wonder what CFM's other intakes make...oh wait, most just say "improved airflow" Kinda makes you say hmmmm.

For people like myself who enjoy keeping the engine bay clean, I'm curious how dirty the inside of this intake gets? Looks fairly easy to unscrew and clean the inside though. Perhaps a nice ceramic coating over both sides would help :p. I'm definitely in for one of these when they become available, love the look!

I would imagine the inside part of the clear plastic would get dusty real quick.

Another intake in an already saturated market. The good part is that its not made of carbon...and once its hits retailers...you can probably get it for under $300. Lol...which seems like a good deal for a closed intake.

Yeah, I'll be coating it with a polycarb protectant, which will prolong how to looks. Honestly though, it's an extremely good deal for a closed intake.
