Anybody know much about it?
When I try looking up the stock Alltrack part online, it gives two possible sway bars - one is a 21.7mm with 3mm wall, and the other is simply given as 19.7mm. I'm not sure why there would be two parts for the Alltrack - is it different between different trim levels? If the 19.7 is presumed to be solid, it would actually be stiffer than the 21.7mm bar when you plug it into a torsion calculator.
I would think the Golf R sway bar at 21.7mm and 3.6mm wall thickness would be a logical upgrade, but it's only 10% stiffer torsionally than the 21.7mm stock with 3.0mm wall thickness. Is that enough difference in torsional stiffness to make a noticeable impact on handling?
What other not too expensive options are there for the Alltrack?
