Variant To a regular golf

Hey, Will a reverse camera from a golf variant fit a regular golf? the rear of the variant looks a bit different so i am a bit worried.

I've seen the RVC kits sold as different items for the Golf and the Golf Estate, so I'd hazard a guess and say no. Not sure why, though.
