Bumper Damage – Not so Bad – or Really Bad?

Had a pheasant or some other kind of large game bird land right in front of my car as I was moving down the highway (dumb bird!). Once I pulled over, noticed that the overall damage didn't seem too bad, but a lot of trim pieces were pushed out of position, fog lights are pushed back, center grill came out of it's tabs.

Wonder if a more experienced eye could tell if this is mostly about taking it apart and putting everything in the right position – or if there might be enough broken tabs, etc that replacement parts might be required.

I also just noticed when I looked at these pictures that there's a crack on the inside lip of the bumper. Would trim pieces cover this up?

And yes, I'm a little bit OCD. Have been babying this car for the past two years and really, really bummed out by this freak accident.

To me it doesn’t look that bad, I would try to put it all together. There’s no way to know for sure if more tabs are going to be broken.
Be extra careful with the crack in the lip, that may need to be fixed/glued...

OK, so finally got around to pulling the bumper cover off. Seems like with a few replacement parts, and patching some cracks, it might be hard to spot the damage. (And save me the price of a trip to the auto body shop.)

You're seeing the bulk of the damage below. A couple cracked pieces and a nice long crack in the bumper cover along the RH fog light trim piece tabs.

Would welcome any expert advice pertaining to:

1. Recommended products for repairing cracks (they'll all be hidden behind trim. Have had good luck with 3M products – was looking at 3M bumper repair kit/epoxy). Any other suggestions?

2. What's the best tool to remove all these trim pieces without damaging the tabs? I've got some interior trim removal tools, assuming those would work?
