In a couple thousand miles I will be needing to do the 40k mile dsg service, oil & filter change. I plan to put the fluid back in through where the filter goes. Are there any tips or tricks that can be offered to help along the way?

Just so I'm clear, and everyone knows. The search function does not work on my pos phone...

Always Google MK7 + what you are looking for. MK7 DSG DIY, MK7 Eurodyne discussion, MK7 oil change DIY, MK7 APR Stage 1 review, MK7 engine failure, etc. Works 95% of the time if you are having issue using the forum search engine.

if you use the tool on google "site:" you can search a domain for terms

ex searching "site:golfmk7.com dsg service" will return threads containing dsg service only on this domain
