Not sure why not? You've got multiple people in this thread telling you it's what they're looking for. Those are paying customers you're missing out on. That seems foolish. Wouldn't you want to look at the big picture and perhaps creating halo business for yourselves off a less expensive version of this product?
I for one run the stock air box with AFe filter and would be buying one of these if it wasn't CF. I don't have any CF parts in/on the car and don't plan to. That look simply isn't for me. CF is pretty in some cases but isn't gaining anything, especially in this use case, for anyone except an increase in cost that it's clear users don't want. Wight difference on a part like this isn't going to matter much to most people.
