It can be swapped out. Here's the official one from proclip but I imagine the apple brand you have should fit.

I could be interested in this but I can't find a way to convert it to USB C. I saw the link for the Lightning cable but I've crawled all around that site and cannot find the USB-C Equivalent. Did your come with one or do you know where I could get one from if I decided to buy yours?

I wouldn't recommend to buy one of their cables because they are so overpriced.

When you go to swap out a cable in the holder, there are 2 screws that hold a plastic piece that "wedges" the end of the cable in the holder. And the cutout for a cable is a square shape.

I'd recommend to just try to screw in whatever cable you have, and the plastic piece w/ screws will hold it snug.
