I used killallwipers on my 2017 sport.
What I found was that the hole cut in my glass was imperfect and when I tried to press the plug in as a test fit, there is a thin flange edge on the plug that partially snapped off. I ended up still getting a seal with the RTV and everything was okay in the end.
I also found that the RTV they sent with the kit is extremely messy and comes out fast, so beware and have rags nearby.
I also needed to clay my window on the outside to remove the invisible silicone residue left on the window after the RTV was cured.
