I have 3.667 now trying to reach 3.600 exactly now

3.667 is good. Make sure the nut is tightened fully (don't crank it, just don't want it to come loose) and run the test again to make sure voltage is where you put it.

If you are doing this from under car, take out jackstand and lower car. Turn car to on position (not started) and clear all codes. Scan for codes again. Those 2 should be gone. Go for a short drive and drive normally. Come back home and scan again. If they come back go down to 3.6. If that fails the actuator may have been broken by shop, but since you are adjusting voltage successfully it seems to be ok.

Hi Diggs,

brief question

I was at the VW dealer today and they did the actuator adaptation

and their system shows them it shoul dbe between 3.5 and 3.58 Volt

When I was there this morning my voltage was 3.589V (not 3.6xxx)

last time, when i was setting it at the shop a few days back posted above

it was 3.622, so seems to have changed a bit lower on its own.

Not sure if this is normal headroom to move within, or if I should have

something checked.

I was wondering about your 2 cents now,

should I just leave it in your opinion as it is?

or try to bring it to between 3.5 and 3.58 ?

since you mentioned 3.6 for the tomioka and the Voltage

VW refers to is for stock turbo basically.

thank you!

Do you have a TCU tune? Try and run the basic DSG adaptation. Tranny fluid needs to be fully warmed up. Car running, parking brake on, foot on brake and pushed down entire time. Takes a few minutes and makes noises.

yep I have a TCU tune, will go back to etuners to have it checked.

I have brand new DSG fluid (Motul) and went to VW this morning and did the

DSG Adaptation also. On my way back I tried launch control and funny

enough I instantly got a DSG overheated error now lol.

Will have to dig a bit deeper on the DSG. The tuner wanted me to do

adaptation at the dealer first and then we will look at both ECU tune

(as wastegate now seems to function finally) and TCU tune

get the car finally finished.

Leave it alone if it is running well and throwing no codes.

Let us know if you get it sorted.

hey mate,

yes i got it fixed with giving it to the tuner again now witht he right voltage in place, he re-did ECU and TCU tune and car is doing well now.

did not do 60-120 yet (or rather 100--200 km/h)

but 0-100 km/h has a 3.4 seconds measured on launch control :)

I just installed my cts turbo, and i adjusted it to 3.8v, is that reason i am pulling code p02990.

Are you getting a whooshing noise? I would check and make sure no hoses popped off; start at the intercooler.

3.8 seems awfully high. Was that recommended by someone? Try 3.6 instead.

I checked all the hoses. no leaks. I will try to set it to 3.6, but had a tough time setting to it to 3.8 as their is not enough room for me to spin it.
