Is it a independent shop? Might be hard to get them to admit fault. Worst case get the Local PD involved. Don't really think that it's worth that trouble. Maybe write a review on Google and Yelp to give others a heads up.Well went down back to the shop to watch video. Manager was rly defensive the whole time and as we play back video that's shitty as hell it keeps cutting out for the back in the garage cams. Didn't happen out in the parking lot.
Not sure what I can do besides file a BS report where nothing will happen.
Wish they would just own up to it, because it's obvious they rubbed something up against it.

If it's a chain store contact HQ.
Honestly the damage looks very minor. More like scuffs than anything else.
Has a classier look now.

The rub looks like it was against and object made of rubber or plastic to me.
Not sure a metal can would make the same smooth rub.
Like columns or poles they use to protect things. Bank machines etc.
At work we have yellow plastic covers that slide over poles like this.
Just a thought on what to look for as you drive around.
Or the tire guys rubbed something.
Find a paint shop and have them look at it.
I think buff out most of it.
Or time to wrap the car!
