Maybe I was too quick to judge the Milton

As part of my deal I secured a set of Conti snows for the OEM Milton wheel. Mostly because I thought it was kind of ugly, especially compared to past GTI wheels. Subsequently, I've watched a ton of GTI reviews, and I think it looks better now than when I made that decision.

I guess the plus is that I get to pick a summer wheel, and I always prefer dark wheels on a white car -- likely black, titanium/anthracite, or maybe even bronze.

Is there a consensus about the best looking OEM VW wheel from the Mk VII?

IMO Pretorias are the best looking OEM VW wheels. They were standard wheels for previous MY Rs.

I love the Rotary for the best looking OEM wheel option. A bit biased as I have the similar looking Neuspeed RSE11's

I don't generally like any wheel with a "twist" look to them, and especially if they are not "left" and "right" specific.
I can only think of 2 wheels like that; my brother's old 4th-gen (1992-1996) Prelude had them, and the 1990-1995 Nissan 300ZX's which were designed to channel air onto the brakes. Why VW can't do this in 2018 is beyond me.
