The best way of doing this without as much blow back is letting him drive your car and you drive his. If he beats you in your ride it's a win for him and you. If you win in his then pop the hood cause damn there's something extra under there he didn't mention lol. Chances are he's a diehard chevy fan (nothing wrong with that) and has never driven something that small with that much power. Change his mind who knows maybe he'll like it and get one. I went from a small block 323hp to my beloved Mk7 and never looked back.

It was over before it started, there was literally zero competition it felt like he wasn't trying but he said he was laying on it. Certainly knocked him down a peg lol
