DSG Filter Accessible From Underneath?

A few members mentioned it but I never followed up.

(Mostly) Posted by Josh/AWE. Flapper valves are open at idle, close after 1100 RPM during part throttle. Full throttle 1st-4th gear the valves open until throttle let off. 4th gear, 1500 RPM to full throttle closed, closed until 3500 RPM, then open until lift off throttle.

In all the videos I've seen, the filter cover looks like it doesn't have much clearance between it and the battery tray.

Take the battery tray out. Takes 10 minutes and will make your life much simpler.

Good excuse to get a new battery if it lasts 4 years.

Yep. And use the money saved from not having to buy the special tool to fill from the bottom.
