07/10/2018 Replace the Audi Hex Jack Pad and Audi Jack block on the rear with Jack Snubber / Jack Snubber grommet lifting pads

Note: the Audi Hex Jack Pad, and the Audi Jack Block on the rear is awesome OEM stuff but it's making it a pain in the ass for me to raise my car on the lift. They take up a bit too much space and makes it difficult for me to insert spacer pucks on my lift. Moreover - they aren't really made for lifts in general as it's not level, only for floor jacks.

Got the following from e-Acca for less than 68$ shipped.

Front:

(1x) 8V0825271 and (1x) 8V0825272 splash shields
(2x) 8N0803855 jack snubber, (2x) 8N0804583 (jack snubber grommet)

Rear:

(2x) 8N0803855 jack snubber, (2x) 8N0804583 (jack snubber grommet)

8V0825271

8V0825272

8N0803855

8N0804583

I also purchased the following from eBay - to make lifting easy peasy.

07/25/2018 Installed the Leyo Motorsport Subframe Bushing Insert Kit #L141G

09/24/2018 Received Steering Wheel from RoyalSteeringWheels.com - installed.

Great start! very similar to what I've got planned but you've made much more progress. Glad to know there were no surprises installing the audi jackpads and thanks for the oem p/n's. Interested in how the skid plate fits.

Yep - easy peasy. I ended up installing the APR subframe insert yesterday, and the VW671 front license plate mount today.

When the car hits 1K, I'll change the oil and install the skid plate. Planning on removing the bumper to make it easy instead.

mmm those pilot super sports look nice and meaty. any rubbing with the wider and taller size?

They are 245/40R18s- so far no rub( my wheels are 8.5 inches wide ).
I’m on stock height though, no plans for lowering car.

Great build so far! How do you like those replacement paddles? Are they true replacements or do they just fit over the OE paddles?

It's a full replacement, not double sticky taped on. Fairly easy to install as well (just a tweezer to remove the plastic pin then put back on).
