Hey everyone,

Looking into a new intake for my golf that I would eventually upgrade with a catback exhaust to get it sounding awesome. There are currently three air intakes that I've seen that would be of interest to me:

https://www.forgemotorsport.com/14_150__138_BHP_High_Flow_Carbon_Intake--product--1535.html
https://www.aemintakes.com/search/product.aspx?prod=21-797c

I know the aem one is for the "jetta" only, but it should still fit the golf as it's the same engine.
Which one do you all think will get the best sound and HP gain? Any assistance would be super appreciated!! Thanks.

Out of the three...Forge is the best as a closed system..the others are open exposed filters which have always been bad & can suck in warm engine air....

Personaly I wouldn't fit any....I have however fitted an ITG foam filter which is way better made than the Pipercross one in the Forge kit you linked to...& ITG rebrand their one for VWR...
