While it doesn't appear that the board is exactly chock-a-block with TCR (Touring Class Racing) enthusiasts, for those who are interested in VW's (and Audi's) participation in the new series in the United States, this weekend (3/16/18) saw the running of the second race of the series in Sebring, Florida.
Kuno Wittmer and Rodrigo Sales won the class driving a Compass Racing prepared Audi RS3 LMS TCR. For VW enthusiasts, the significant news was the fact that the Audi was followed home by the only non-Audi car in the six-car field, a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR driven by Tanner and Luke Rumburg.
Unfortunately, the only coverage of the event available today is this short YouTube clip which has some (meager) coverage of the TCR class beginning at 4:16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INLeTFLQyCA.
In any event, let's hear it for the guys who are racing a V-Dub Golf GTI in international competition in the United States and put it on the second-step of the podium at Sebring.
