Is running a IS38 swap with a IS20 Tune safe?

Hello,

I'm swapping an IS38 into my GTi tomorrow and I was wondering if it's safe to run a Stage 2 Tune (is20) on it until I can get it protuned a week or so later?

Probably safe to drive around with but don't go flooring it.

Sure, you just won't get the higher boost/optimization for the larger turbo that the tune will give.

This.

I ran an IS20 on stock tune for a couple thousand miles before I got JB4 going. Car didn't care. Felt more powerful on top end.
