Those brakes look the business!

The pictures don’t really bring justice to how impressive they are in person. I can’t wait to test them out on the track!

Just picked the car up from the shop an hour ago. I stopped to take some snaps before getting to work. I hope you guys like it!

Hi! really nice your gti!

Here is Aluízio, that was talking with you on the DSG LSD topic.

Another mod I'll do in my gti is to install a coilover. I'll probably choose between Bilstein B16 or KW V2 (or even V3).

My main doubt is about the maximum height: As the car is my daily driver, I don't want a really low car.

Do you know how much is possible to up the car with the KW V2, comparing to your car height on the photos you posted?

Hey what's up Aluizio! Yes, I hope that helped man! :)

I've had both suspension set-ups on different cars. Bilstein suspension is very very good especially the B16 PSS10! However after owning both, the valving on the KW is superior in my opinion.

I ran the Kwv3 on my racecar, and now kwv2 in my GTI.. KW has a stock ride feel, and the rebound adjustment and height adjustment is very easy to do.

After installing, and taking those photos I decided to raise my car back up 1" for clearance, also had the fenders modified to run 245/40/18 tires. I'm trying to get the most tire I can fit. The fender had to be cut out, and the fronts had to be rolled. It's best to avoid scraping and rubbing as much as possible. The KW allows for maximum ride height flexibility.

B16 is also very good, it just comes down to preference and I feel KW is my brand of choice. You can do much more with the KWv3 if you want to track the car. If you want a good daily driver coil over KWv2 is for you man! Good luck with your build man!

Hi! Thank you again for your help man!

The first impression that I had searching on internet is that with the KW I'll not be able to rise the car as much as I need. However, per your description and your car's pictures, the height will not be a problem.

Do you have some pictures of your car after raising it?

My car is still running with OEM suspension. This is a huge problem on track... KW or Bilstein will improve it a lot.

I would not recommend the B16 coilovers. I was running them and so was my friend. Both of them had mechanical failures that left the cars undriveable. Same exact thing happened to both cars. Go with a different brand. They do not stand behind their product or lifetime warranty.

No worries man!

I don't have my car back yet, it's still in the shop getting worked on. They are finalizing everything this week. I'll be doing a full breakdown and review for anyone that's interested in my set-up. (Probably something on Youtube)

The KWV2-V3 allow for a near stock height level ride height. (Similar to a Golf R ride height)

It looks similar to this at highest ride setting:

If you want to run that high up on the track you will have more body roll unless you upgrade your shocks, springs, and anti-roll bars.

My next mods after getting my car back will be Neuspeed Race Anti Sway Bars for front and rear.

Let me know what you end up going with? Take care man!

Thank you for the feedback brother! I've not been a huge B16 advocate because I've always ran KW, and they are RACE proven time and time again! :)

I mean just look at thiiiisssss:
