2015 GTI S, fog light retrofit possible?

Electrically it should be feasible, provided your BCM allows this., post your VCDS log or the BCM part number and I can confirm if this will work.

For the hardware, you could search places like AliExpress, Ebay, etc to see if they sell the kits or individual parts.

My MK7 has rear fog lights and i want to retrofit front ones. in pin 5 of my switch there is a cable already that goes to the bcm. My BCM is the following:

Address 09: Cent. Elect. (J519) Labels:| 5Q0-937-08X-BV1.clb
Part No SW: 5Q0 937 084 AF HW: 5Q0 937 084 AF
Component: BCM MQBAB B H18 0134

can it accept front foglights?

Every help would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure if yours can accept fogs, but I assume they would since you say you have the rears. As for the trigger wire, my Canadian GTI already had it installed. I was confused like you and it delayed the DIY. If you're in the midst of an install, maybe you're at a point that you can test it?
