Gtd mpgs

Most MPG I have got is 62mpg on country roads mostly going around 60mph. Usually I average about 55mpg from work (35 miles ) and I have a pretty heavy right foot (depending what mood I'm in), on motorways and putting my foot down and usually rushing to work I still average at least 50mpg could probably get 60-65mpg easily if i cruised at a steady 60-70mph, will have to try it one day.

Im also due a service as it looks like iv gone 22000 miles since fuel filter change so think it could be this?

What does everyone else get mpg wise on motorway at 70mph?

Your MPG is so low because you don't need a diesel for 22 miles a day lol.

I get 56mpg in sport mode with a dsg box, because I have a 36 mile commute. 11 miles isn't long enough for the engine and exhaust to heat up properly on a diesel.

So in theory you'd save money by having a gti
