I drove up to Montreal with my youngest son last year for our first F1 race in person. We're both LH44 fans too, so we had a great three days. Lewis won his 65th pole to tie Ayrton Senna and the Senna family gifted him one of Ayrton's helmets, which he clutched like a baby's blanket on the ride back to the garage. Then Lewis won the race and Ricciardo finished third, so we got to see Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) do a Shoey. What a weekend. We bounced home we were so excited.

The Canadian GP is a terrific event. Don't hesitate to go. Our view from Grandstand 1:

Ehh I don't really think the odds will be any greater.
At least not significantly.
I would love to be proven wrong, however the track is just not very conducive to it.

That was a brutally boring race, and Hamilton and Alonso both made comments to the media to the same effect.

The whole motorsports weekend was boring though. Kyle Busch won all four stages and led 377 of 400 laps at Charlotte, just two years after Martin Truex led 392 of 400.

Indy 500 was the most exciting race on Sunday, and it wasn’t exactly remarkable.

I didn't even get to watch of the Indy 500.
I wanted to tune in but was unable to.

But yeah also heard that it was not great either.
But apparently these new cars have a lack of downforce?

I think I saw that a bunch of them would spin coming out of corners.

Many did have the ass kick out mid-to-late turn.
