Didn't those have a mitsu TD04-20 stock or something?

It's a Mitsu turbo, not sure which one.

Decent flow and reliable, but the tuning issues on that platform are ridiculous, or they were years ago, not sure about now.

Yeah I tuned it with a map clamp (small screw driver), wg arm/nut, and Aeroforce scan gauge. Lol.

Tuned with a screwdriver and still made more power than most MK7s.

The platform had potential, too bad the blocks were junk.

Yep. A lot of people popped their motors around 375-400 whp range. I was whippin some ass though (45 rolls) circa 2009-2012. Most people just thought it was a caliber w/ wheels. The dual mass flywheels were a weak link too.

Like Hoon said the open deck design leads to cracking/failure. There used to be a lot around here.. they make good power for cheap but are unreliable . If I wanted a 400 whp dice roll I'd buy a single turbo 335. Lol
