Much to my surprise those look OK - now that I know what you're trying to achieve with the orange alloys etc., why not.
haha. They do look a lot better than that honestly, you can't see the shine on that picture. Ill try and get some better quality pictures on next week when my wheels (hopefully) will be orange. There going Focus ST Electric Orange which has a pearl effect.

Speaking of orange, there's a left hand drive Golf Mk6 in my area which is a really loud orange - I think it used to be on German plates. I wondered if this might be a factory colour knowing that VW offer a massive range of colours in Germany.
its relatively cheap and quite easy to change colours these days. people are just vinyl wrapping there cars and you dont have to notify DVLA of a colour change as its not permanent (can be removed). maybe it has just been wrapped or was a special edition??
